Brian Hill is a middle school teacher in Sioux City, Iowa. He has been a teacher/coach since 1983 and a teacher since 2010. After spending 16 years in retail sales and another 8 in pharmaceutical sales he finished his teaching certification and pursued his passion for the classroom.
In 2018 he became a Global Minecraft Mentor and has been using Minecraft in his classroom, in various ways, since 2013. While his content subject is Computer Science, his passion is teaching the 5 C’s (communication, collaboration, critical thinking, creativity and coding). In other words, he uses Computer Science to teach kids about life.
Brian is married (since 1990) and has three adult children. His wife and daughter are teachers and surpass him in the classroom. His son’s are entrepreneur’s, still searching for that spark that will ignite the dream.
